FIELD PRODUCTION

Description

Learn basic shooting, sound and lighting techniques to produce quality video and audio. This core class offers hands on training with 3-chip digital Mini DV format camcorders, microphones, field monitors, lighting kits and accessories for your field productions. We'll also discuss equipment safety and checkout procedures. You may also finish off by doing a short video production. Berkeley residents have access to our professional quality Sony PD150, TRV 900 and PD 100 DV camcorders available to borrow for no extra charge. Successful completion of this class will certify you to check out equipment for 2 days up to four times per video project.
