Production Tips

Producing an individual Studio program, step by step:

1.      Become certified in studio of choice (Express or Studio A)

2.      Formulate program idea. Is it live or taped? How long? What format?

3.      Fill out a program proposal. Your program must be ready to air four months from submission date.

4.      Meet with your mentor.

5.      Apply for a studio date.

6.      Begin preproduction, gather crew, talent, props, write script, complete talent releases.

7.      Submit a facilities request to secure your studio date no less then 10 days in advance.

8.      Set up, shoot, strike set.

9.      Begin any post production (editing) needed.

10.  Submit your tape for cablecast on B-TV25.
