Berkeley Community Media Celebrates Graduation with Berkeley High

For years the staff at Berkeley Community Media have attended and videotaped the Berkeley High School graduation ceremonies and continue this year with this long-standing tradition. Berkeley Community Media operates two channels on Comcast cable for members to create their own productions along with the broadcast of City Council meetings, BUSD meetings, and the Rent Stablization Board. Highlights of the graduation will air on BCM's channel 28, however, the entire Ceremony will be available on DVD. Don't wait to purchase your own copy of this exciting and memorable event!   Who we are
  Berkeley Community Media is dedicated to community access to the media by and for Berkeley residents. Many people know us through B-TV Channel 28, the community access television station run by BCM and by B-TV Channel 33 that airs City Council and other government meetings. We also provide low-cost classes, access to video equipment, editing suites and studios, a popular internship program, and ongoing advocacy with the City and Comcast to protect and enhance these resources for Berkeley residents. Our mission is to build an electronic free speech forum in order to encourage democratic involvement and build community.
