Bulletin Boards
Click here to find local events and information on B-TV's Community and Government Bulletin Boards!

Non-profit community groups, government departments and educational institutions within the immediate Berkeley/ San Francisco Bay Area may submit event announcements for the electronic bulletin boards on B-TV.

These text and graphic announcements run between programs 24 hours per day, 7 days a week and are seen by all of Berkeley's cable subscribers. Most events and announcements are publicized on B-TV Channel 28's Community Bulletin Board or CBB. If announcements have relevence to government or educational institutions, they may be aired on Channel 33's Government Bulletin Board or GBB.

Messages must be submitted on a Community Bulletin Board (CBB) request form. You may also arrange to email us a logo or other event information but we cannot guarantee they will be included in the announcement.

All messages must be non-commercial in nature. We do not accept classified or personal ads. In the interest of fairness and equal access, any one organization or community producer may submit no more than four postings per calendar month. Each posting must be submitted separately.

New CBB messages must be submitted at least two weeks before the event and will
run for a maximum of 30 days. Messages must be submitted at least one week
before it needs to begin airing. You must include your name and contact information
with your request. Please keep your message brief.

Donors to Berkeley Community Media are thanked on the Community Bulletin Board. Businesses may also sponsor the wide variety of B-TV programming and receive underwriting benefits through exposure on the Community Bulletin Board.

We also request music donations from musicians and record companies. These donations are also acknowledged on the Community Bulletin Board, which helps in promoting local musicians. Please send us your CDs along with a signed CD Release form.
